Wood Processing Industries Limited and Ndola Pine Plantations has contributed a lot to Forestry as well as made their profit through sales. WPI is the oldest and largest Sawn Timber and Panel production industry and has employed over 1,000 persons as direct and indirect green jobs. The company was initially setup to manufacture Particleboard (for the very first time in the country), and since then has expanded its manufacturing activity to diversify its product range in terms of value-added products.
